My Experience at Seneca

Most recently, I completed a student placement with the Emergency Management team at Seneca Polytechnic, where I supported a range of planning, research, and coordination activities. I contributed to the development of fire safety training materials, helped organize a fire safety awareness campaign, participated in fire drills, and compiled data and observations into a formal After Action Report for senior leadership. This experience strengthened my skills in emergency documentation, data synthesis, and working within established emergency management policies and procedures.

My Experience as a Carpenter

For the last three summers, I have been working as a Carpenter, developing skills I never knew I would possess. As a carpenter, I’ve worked on building walls, installing doors, putting up ceilings, and handling all kinds of custom carpentry tasks. I’m comfortable with hands-on work, tools, and problem-solving on the spot. I like doing the job right, keeping things clean, and making sure whatever I build is solid and looks good.
